Where are we now?

My name is April. My mule's name is Honeychild. We met in Montana in 2008 and moved to Oregon together, where we lived for a year and a half. Last summer, I moved Honeychild to Pennsylvania (a trip that included a two-month pause in the knobby hills of Tennessee) and settled her into the lush little country hollow I grew up in. Then I returned to Oregon, hopped on the back seat of a tandem bicycled, and pedaled east again. Now Honeychild and I are waiting for spring.
